We are having a meeting on Wednesday, March 6th from 1 to 3pm at our house to get three events for the Ivins Night Sky Initiative off the ground.
We need help with ideas for the events, planning them, the best ways to promote them, and help at the actual events.
The events are:
- Our participation in the Kayenta Street Painting Festival (April 27-28)
- Setting up a star-gazing party for kids and families and others interested
- Planning an entertaining and informative presentation on dark sky issues and safety and how to get involved.
